For any question about your personal data, write to entagrico@gmail.com.

02

What data do we collect?

We only collect the information you choose to send us, and what is strictly needed for the website to work.

Contact form and quotation request

Name, email address, phone number, company, country, subject, message and, for a quotation, the product and quantity requested. The IP address of the submission is recorded to prevent abuse.

Application to a job offer or speculative application

Name, email address, phone number, city, desired position, message, CV and, where provided, cover letter.

Response to a trade notice

Name, company, profile (wholesaler, retailer, distributor…), phone number, email address if you provide it, city, quantity and frequency required, message. If you respond to a notice through Facebook, WhatsApp or by phone, our team may record the same information to follow up on your request.

Partner producers and cooperatives

Traceability pages may show the name, locality, a photo and a short description of the producer of a batch. This information is only published with their consent, which they can withdraw at any time.

Browsing

The website does not ask visitors to create an account and uses no audience measurement or advertising tools. Like any website, the server keeps technical logs (IP address, date, page viewed) for security purposes.

03

Why do we use it?

  • To answer your messages and send you our commercial offers, at your request.
  • To review your application, for the offer concerned and for our future recruitment.
  • To follow up on your interest in a trade notice and build a partnership with you (quantities, deliveries, terms).
  • To inform buyers about the origin of batches, with the consent of the producers concerned.
  • To protect the website against automated submissions and intrusion attempts.

This processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and, for the security of the website, on our legitimate interest. Your data is never used for any other purpose.

04

Who can access it?

Only ENTAGRICO team members authorised to handle your request can access it, each according to their role. CVs and cover letters are stored outside the public area of the website and can only be opened by authorised accounts.

Our technical service providers (website hosting, email delivery) may access it solely to perform their service, on our behalf.

Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties.

05

How long do we keep it?

  • Messages and quotation requests: 24 months after receipt.
  • Applications, CVs and cover letters: 24 months after receipt.
  • Responses to trade notices: 24 months after receipt, unless a partnership is agreed.
  • Producer information published on traceability pages: until they withdraw their consent.

After these periods, the data is deleted automatically, including files. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner.

06

Cookies

The website only uses technical cookies that it needs to work: a session cookie and a security token, set when you use a form and deleted after 120 minutes of inactivity. They are not used to track or identify you, so they do not require your consent.

The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps. It only loads if you click “Show the map”: Google may then set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.

07

How do we protect it?

Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the administration area is restricted to named accounts, protected by a password and, depending on their role, by two-step verification, and every action there is recorded in an audit log.

08

What are your rights?

You can at any time access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing or withdraw your consent. Write to us at entagrico@gmail.com stating your request; we may ask you to prove your identity.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with Benin’s personal data protection authority (APDP): apdp.bj.

09

Changes

This policy may change, in particular if a new service is added to the website. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
